Fixed/Growth mindset – part 1

Dr. Carol Dweck, a professor at the Harvard Business School, began studying children and how they learn and address challenges. Her work has developed to be a cornerstone in leadership mindsets. According to her work, there are 2 mindsets that we all have on a spectrum and that show up in different situations, although we may have one more predominant than another. A "Fixed Mindset" means that you believe that intelligence and talent are fixed. A "Growth Mindset" means that you believe that your intelligence and talent can be developed over time.
